
The Supporting Infant and Child Sleep: A family-centred framework for occupational therapists workshop offers an overview of current child and family sleep research, an accessible summary of relevant theory and current debates from a broad range of relevant multi-disciplinary fields; a deep-dive into sleep as an occupational category incorporating sleep preparation and sleep participation activities; and a guiding framework for occupation-focused, family-centred sleep evaluation, collaborative goal-setting, intervention, and outcome measurement.
Occupational therapists who participate in this course will have an opportunity to learn through provided case studies, consider a wide range of sleep strategies, and develop their clinical reasoning skills and confidence specific to supporting paediatric and family sleep.
The course is presented live, online via Zoom and runs over two mornings from 9.30am -12.30pm on Thurs 12th and Friday 13th November 2026. The cost is €149 per participant.
